We've had more than one person ask which of our blends is the best, and as we all know, personal preference is a funny beast, so we tend not to answer. Seriously though, it got our Roaster a little narky, as all our blends are his 'children' and of course no parent has favourites! In true 'reverse psychology' form he decided to try and make the creme de la creme, the best of the best, the coffee heaven on earth, the elixer of life (well, that might be taking things a touch OTT but you get the drift).
After a huge amount of research, the blend now on offer was made using only the finest Estate coffee from Guatemala, Brazil, India, Columbia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea & Ethiopia. (FYI, estate coffee is defined as the best quality beans from a specific grower, not a co-operative nor the trademark name of an exporter. Obviously only your top of the range coffee producer has the kudos to make estate coffee. As each farm produces coffee at different times of the year, a particular estate coffee may only be available at certain times).
So, the added complexity of the blending and roasting process make this a coffee you do not see very often!
